Our Facilities: The Heart of Precision Manufacturing

Our capabilities are powered by two state-of-the-art manufacturing units, strategically located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. These facilities are the backbone of our precision engineering, designed for efficiency, high-volume production, and unwavering quality.

Unit 1

Our primary manufacturing hub, Unit 1, is a modern facility strategically located in Coimbatore. This unit houses a significant portion of our advanced CNC machinery, conventional equipment, and specialized production lines. It serves as a cornerstone of our operational capabilities, designed for high-precision manufacturing and efficient workflow, contributing significantly to our capacity to serve top MNC clients across India.

Unit 2

Complementing our primary operations, Unit 2 is another integral part of Shanrag Machine Tools’ manufacturing infrastructure, also located in Coimbatore. Unit 2 plays a crucial role in supporting our high-volume demands and ensuring operational resilience, working in tandem with Unit 1 to deliver consistent quality and efficiency.

Advanced CNC Turning Centers

For high-precision turning of intricate and complex components, ensuring tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes.

Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)

Enabling versatile and precise milling operations for intricate parts, molds, and tooling.

CNC Vertical Turret Lathes (CNCVTL)

For high-precision turning of intricate and complex components, ensuring tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes.

Handling Facilities

Our manufacturing operations are supported by comprehensive material handling facilities designed for efficiency and safety. These include a strategic combination of EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes, Pillar-Mounted Jib Cranes, Pallet Trucks, and Stackers. This robust infrastructure ensures the seamless and secure movement of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout our units, optimizing workflow and enhancing overall productivity.

Surface Grinding

Our precision finishing section is equipped with 6 PERFECT-PFG-CL3060AH (Taiwan) Surface Grinding Machines. These units are vital for achieving exceptionally fine surface finishes and tight tolerances, offering a grinding area of 300 x 600 mm and utilizing electromagnetic chucks for stable and accurate material removal.

Lathes

Our infrastructure includes 3 OLIMBIC (RAJKOT) Lathe units, providing versatile conventional turning capabilities. These machines feature a 92-inch bed length, a 10-inch chuck, and can handle components up to 22 inches in diameter. Equipped with hydraulic tailstocks, they ensure precision and efficiency for a wide range of turning operations.

Milling Machines

Our infrastructure includes 10 SUTLAJ No.2 Milling Machines, providing extensive conventional milling capabilities. Each machine features a substantial working surface of 1,100 x 250 mm, ensuring versatility and high capacity for a wide range of milling operations, from intricate cuts to general machining

Slotting Machines

Our facilities are equipped with 2 SVPANCHAL Slotting Machines. These dedicated machines are essential for efficiently creating precise internal shapes, keyways, and specialized slots in components, complementing our milling and turning operations for complete part finishing.

Paint Booth

Our finishing capabilities include a Front Open Water Curtain Type Paint Booth, ensuring a clean and efficient environment for component painting. With overall dimensions of 1,500 x 1,500 x 2,500 mm and a working area of 915 x 915 x 915 mm, it’s designed for effective application. Equipped with a 1 HP exhaust motor and a 0.5 HP pump motor, the booth efficiently manages overspray, resulting in high-quality, consistent finishes.

Notching Machine

Notching Machine is a specialized piece of equipment used in metalworking and fabrication to cut specific shapes, typically V-shaped or U-shaped notches, into the edges of sheet metal, bars, tubes, or pipes.

Vibratory Finishing Machine

Our finishing department utilizes a Vibratory Finishing Machine for efficient and effective surface treatment of components. This machine processes parts in a vibratory tub with media and compound, ensuring thorough deburring, edge radiusing, cleaning, and surface conditioning. It’s crucial for achieving consistent, high-quality finishes, preparing parts for subsequent processes like painting or final assembly.
